Kite/surf lessons

Our kite training center, run under VDWS regulations, is a place where you can learn the exciting sport of kitesurfing. VDWS stands for “Verband Deutscher Wassersport Schulen” (Association of German Watersport Schools) and ensures that the training is done according to high quality standards.

At our training center you will be supervised by experienced and certified instructors who will teach you the basics of kitesurfing and help you improve your skills. You will train in a safe environment where your individual needs will be addressed.

Whether you are a beginner or already experienced, a kite training center under VDWS regulations offers you the opportunity to learn and enjoy kitesurfing in a professional and responsible way. Of course you will receive the kite equipment from Cabrinha for the duration of the training. We are looking forward to you.

Equipment storage

You want to use your own kite equipment and bring it with you to Fanes – no problem. Michael offers you 25 covered and secured boxes in the Kite Station, where you can store your equipment during your stay with peace of mind.

Kite Station and Storage are located directly at the beach. One storage box offers enough space for 2 boards and 5 kites.

On the spacious area in front of the storage and the kite station (2800 m² excluding grass areas) you can set up your equipment in peace. A compressor for filling your kite is always ready. After your session on the water you can clean your equipment with fresh water, dry it and store it safely for the next day on the water.

For customers from outside, the rental of a storage box includes one free sunbed and free usage of our facilities for the individual person only.
Our hotel guests are provided with sunbeds free of charge during their entire stay.

Equipment rental

You don’t have your own material, or you don’t want to transport your material by plane – No problem. In our exclusive rental center we offer you the possibility to rent the high quality Cabrinha kite material. Michael’s Kite Vacancies is an official Cabrinha Center where only Cabrinha equipment is available for rental. Cabrinha is a renowned brand in the kite sports industry and stands for highest quality and innovation.

With our extensive and constantly updated range of Cabrinha kites, boards and accessories, you can get the most out of your kiteboarding experience. Whether you are an experienced kiter or just starting out, our rental station offers you all the options to choose the right equipment for your skill level, needs, and current wind conditions. You can choose from Cabrinha kites between 5m² and 17m² as well as different Cabrinha boards.

All kites and models are available in the respective sizes mostly 3 and 4 times. This ensures your individual kite fun even in “rush hour”, when everyone suddenly wants to go on the water.

In addition, current foil boards and wingfoils from Cabrinha complete the rental assortment.

We attach great importance to safety and ensure that our kite equipment is regularly maintained and in top condition. Enjoy the ultimate kite experience with the exclusive Cabrinha equipment in our rental station.
